Default Midnight Rider

Just recently got Bon Jovi Live from Stockholm 1993!

Excellent show, the songs were all preformed with such power.

Also this show is home to probaly the best version of Wanted i've ever heard with the Midnight Rider intro.

.Probaly a silly question. But who's inspired Jon to cover this song?Who orignally sang it?

I think it's a song by the Allman Brothers, and the little part that Bon Jovi have usually done is only a small part of it I think, and generally Jon mixes it up a bit. That Stockholm version is one of the best I've heard myself too.

I've heard it from a few shows, even from a Richie solo show

Yah I think it was just carried over for when Richie did it during his Stranger promo tour. Unless they were doing it New Jersey era, not sure.

Hmm. I never knew there was a version with Jon on vocals, I've only heard the Richie version which I think is AMAZING...

The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3

My husband is a fan of the Allman Brothers Band and even he thinks that Richie's version kicks ass. Richie has the perfect voice to sing it.

Well I've only heard one from a Richie show but a couple from Bon Jovi shows, can only give my opinion based on the limited bootlegs I've heard/seen.
