Default Missing Bon Jovi?

Simple questions really,is anyone really missing BJ? Is anyone really desperate for new material?I was talking to a fellow fan yesterday and despite the fact I,ve followed them since they started I,m not really bothered at the moment what they do.

I'm waiting for the new Richie solo-album so I don't bother too much about what the band is doing at the moment.

May change after Bamboozle though.

Definitely not too bothered at the moment. I wasn't too excited about The Circle as it was too quick after LH. But the anticipation of Crush after 5 years was when I was most excited about a BJ album

I'm not that excited about the new BJ album. Yes, I can't wait to see them again on tour and to hear new material, but I'm more excited about the Richie solo project! I really can't wait for it!

No not at all.

If anything there has been too much of them since 2005 thus the quality of the last few albums being average. Take the best of HAND, LH & TC and you get 1 decent album.

They need a break and another 2 years should do it although it probably wont be that long.

Actually, I was really hoping they would take a longer break. Right now I'm very much looking forward to the new Richie album, and I could take the next year enjoying that before the band enters the studio again.

What I really want is a Jon solo album because I think it would be more bold, daring, and different than anything we'd get with the band. But I'm always up for new Bon Jovi music. I mean it's not like if you said, "Want to hear a new Bon Jovi song?" and I'd say "No." I doubt any of us would. I really don't care about Richie's solo album. I didn't like most of the first two so I doubt I'll have much for the next one.

I remember the days when I listened to every song on Bon Jovi's CDs. Since Crush, there are always songs I skip. I don't know if that's more a reflection of them changing or of me changing.

NOPE not bothered at all by anything related to the band right now.... I am though waiting impatiently for Richie SOLO

I KNEW the break would be short (it would have been longer is Jon was busy with something big and time demanding )....I wish they were not working for the band right now or at least I wish they DIDN'T TELL US about it and let us just miss them ... right now any info from the band working makes me think Richie cannot really focus on his own project (or Dave for that matters)
.. so much about informing us it was time to let the band members do their things ...

I can't really say I'm desperate but I miss the touring part. Watching PBPs (especially since the Circle tour was my first tour following the band) was always fun. Most of my excitement is directed towards Richie, though.

Am I desperate for new music? Not really, but I'm also always down for new stuff. I'm quite excited for Richie's solo record, and I certainly wouldn't be upset at the prospect of a new band album. (Non-sequitur, but this idea that taking an extra two years off would make a huge difference in the next album is totally flawed IMO) I am really excited for Bamboozle though, a live show fix will be nice.
