A big No, that's my answer.

I'm looking forward the Richie Solo album, but I'm not excited about the band's new album, in fact I'm a little bit angry about it, knowing the band is not complete focused on such project due to they (except for Jon) are pretty busy in their own, besides knowing J. Shanks is producing it takes away all excitement about it... Is another TC coming in the way... So, No, I don't miss the band right now, what I miss is the old band (1986-2002).

I have the hope that bon jovi learn something about the foo fighters present in the Bamboozle Festival. Wasting Light is a great album with some Grammys. This could set the new Bon Jovi album.

Yup, pretty much. I'll gladly welcome the album, but am I really seeking new tunes? No. I've been taking quite a break from Bon Jovi, so when I do turn them back on, it sounds fresh again.

I hope the new album, whenever it is, will give me that same "fresh" feeling.

While that would be nice, the chances of Bon Jovi altering their style just because of a band that they co-headlined a festival with seems a bit far-fetched.

Yes. And I only realised it today when Blaze came on my ipod (and its not a song I love) and I found myself wishing they would play a one off in Europe like they are doing in NJ in May.
I can wait for new material. But would love one show right now. Just to get my fix.

Festivals are important, I wonder which show will have more success, in terms of audience and reactions of the audience in the show.

Jon could take this into account, pay more attention to the new band of success Foo Fighters

Pay More Attention to your new album Wasting Light, and point several ideas.

Of course, no one is missing them right now. It hasn't even been a year since they finished their last show in July. Give us time to miss them. They are not bringing anything new out at the moment. It's still going to be a few months by the time everything is done and ready, by then we could be missing them. Nothing by the band is being released now at all, until end f this year or next year.

Ask this question by the end of the year and lets see the answers than.

I am not desperate for band new album, but I would welcome it anytime with open arms. I don’t think that the length of the break between albums has anything to do with its quality. The power of their songs is in their hearts, not in their calendar.
With that being said, I am 100% focused and extremely excited about Richie’s new album. This is the album I've been waiting for the most, and I am glad my wish will finally come true soon.

Exactly this.

I thought a few of the tracks from Stranger were great, but many were just filler. Undiscovered Soul gets played maybe once every three years.

I found Jon's solo stuff much more artistic, creative and solid and the songwriting a far higher level than Richie's own efforts. Of course I'll buy whatever Sambora releases, and if he does a solo show I can get to, I'd go.

But ultimately, I'm a fan of the band, not its individual members so if there's new music to be had, I'd rather hear it from them.

Yes and no. I donīt miss new material desperately , I hoped they would take a longer break. Same time, it is always good to hear new stuff.
I wait Richieīs new stuff and I will buy his album, but I would like to hear Jonīs solo more. I have always been more Jonīs solo fan than Richieīs.

I am excited for a new album because I still have faith they can put out good stuff. I was excited for Lost Highway but if faded quickly and it became very stale... first Bon Jovi album for this to occur. The Circle was the first album that I was disappointed in upon first listen... and following listens. This, along with Bounce was partially due to bad track order. Certain songs eventually grew on me, but still no where near a Bon Jovi caliber album IMO. And don't even get me started on the four new songs on the GH.

I am not tired of Bon Jovi. I love Bon Jovi... and I am not sure if I could get tired of them. But I think their desire to appear to be the hardest working band in rock n roll has caught up with their creative process a bit. They could put out an album a year and I'd buy each one. But I'd also gladly wait another five years if it meant another These Days or Keep the Faith.

Do I think they have taken a long enough break to inspire an epic Bon Jovi album? No. Do I think it is possible that they could have written a great album in this amount of time? Absolutely. I am hoping for the best.
