Point taken, Goose. Let me rephrase by saying that I excelled at American-English. Is my correction wrong on your side of the pond?

OK, krb, you are annoying. That's all I have to say about you. It seems you want only to infuriate people by your nasty comments.

As for nationalities etc, there are good and bad people in every country, but Scottish people are damned fine at speaking and writing english, so don't say that he should go to England and then educate us. As a nation, we're actually pretty high up there for intelligence, so get off your high horse and go somewhere else to insult people. Yes, you have touched a soft spot because, although I didn't realise it, I am defensive when it comes to my country...Scotland is a great place full of great people, on the whole (although if you moved here there'd be another exception to that comment!)

There's a few bon jovi-hating boards...go join them, and leave us alone because you just pick fights all the time by analysing each word, comma and grammer point of each sentence...what the hell does that have to do with Bon Jovi?!?! Nothing!

Now, I'm ready to make a bet you don't have many friends if you act like this all the time, and maybe this appeals to your peculiar sense of humour, but it annoys about 99.9% of the board members.

Please, stop with the nit-picking and insults, I've read lots of your posts and not one has made me smile or agree with you or think you are a decent person (just an opinion, you'll understand!). Therefore, I feel it necessary to say something, cos your attitude has gotten to me.

(oh, and i'm ever so sorry for any errors i made in this ramble, after all, i'm only Scottish!!!)

No.

Just for the record, I never said that I respected people on this board (well maybe the odd few, and they know who they are, I think the total is 3 or maybe 4), I said that I respect that people of different nationalities come to this board, so people should take care to write clearly.

JBJRS gir - You go girl!

Now, krb, you are contradicting yourself. You say you don't respect anyone on the boards, but you do respect different nationalities enough to write clearly.

Call me quirky, but if I didn't respect anyone, I wouldn't care if my posts contained the correct punctuation and capitalization...

I respect the fact that many people come here whose first language is not English. Is it that hard to understand? (Maybe it is, being American, LOL)

I have to say that I kind of agree with krb102 here. He's having a point. I'm not a native speaker myself and actually not so good in English (as you might have noticed). It's sometimes really hard for me to understand text without punctuation and I think I have mentioned this before to someone. It can't be too difficult to put a period (or a full stop, whatever) where a sentence ends but it can be difficult to read text without any commas, periods etc.

I completely agree with Taija. I'm not a native speaker either.. I don't mind the minor language mistakes or grammar mistakes. But without a full stops (periods) even once in the message makes me headache.

Just for the records, I usually skip those kinds of messages after attempting to read one or two. But now, it seems like there are increase number of such posters . ( I don't care which nationalities they are.)

Hope you all take no offense..
