The Most Over Rated Song (IMO) is Keep The Faith.... don't see the fuss about it.... sure it's good played live, but if it isn't played I could care less.


and on another note, the most under rated songs:

Mystery Train, Lost Highway, I'll Be There For You (sung by Richie Sambora) and of course, Bang A Drum.
It's "I couldn't care less"

I agree with you in "I'd Die For You". And I don't think that Social Disease is overrated, cause I guess that no one thinks that is a great song. It's okay.

Bar the pre-chorus I'd Die For You is a terrible song, especially the chorus, where it just loses all momentum.

It's My Life is a lump of generic Britney crap.

It's hard for me to say this because it's the whole reason I'm a Jovi fan, but It's My Life for sure. It's just too overplayed nowadays.

I still like it though. As far as generic Britney crap goes, it's damn good.

Did I just contradict myself? No, it's still overrated.

IMO It's My Life is probably the worst song, but I didn't add it to my list because I thought no real fans actually rated it.

It's just overplayed. It's not a bad song but it's not great. I used to love it though and it is one of the reasons I'm a fan.

People have a funny way of defining "overrated".

How can Social Disease be overrated when most of the people don't seem to even like it? Or It's My Life? It may have been a hit, but does anyone here think it's one of their best?

For me the most overrated songs are songs that most of the fans, for some reason keep in high regard, and I don't care that much for. So, that would be most of These Days, like These Days, My Guitar etc. I love Diamond Ring.

Also Dry County is overrated here. It's a good song, but it's no masterpiece. Any Other Day would be on my list as well, it's nothing special.

As to songs overrated by the band, well, Sleep, Bad Medicine, etc. Mostly all the hits. I know they "need" to play them everytime, but more rareties would be nice. And it would be nice to see they actually like the songs they play, even if the crowd doesn't get it.

I'm pretty unreal.

EDIT since I paid closer attention to Ice's post: It's My Life is way overrated by the general public/casual fans, which is why I mentioned it. Obviously not by the diehards though.

Livin' On A Prayer. It's okay live, but I seriously can't listen to the studio version. Ditto Bad Name.

I'll Sleep When I'm Dead: I really dislike this song. This may cause a predicament, as my mother wants it played at her funeral. However, I'm not sure that will be happening
