Sausage, Absolution - bear in mind that thread in announcements forum. Soon I'll just start deleting your crap, which is on a par with BTR's spam.

Can't say I'm a huge fan of the new Crue album. It reeks of desperation to get attention IMO. They want and maybe need to cash in and the truth is the Crue painted themselves into a corner years ago when they let their antics, both on and off stage, and their insanity usurp whatever good music they made. That kind of infamy won't allow them to do anything new or different, it has to be the Crue as everyone thinks of them or no one wants it. Nikki writng books about the insanity doesn't help, there is no way for them to live up to their past now or to move past it.

As for BJ a year off would do them some good, just to give them time to gather their thoughts, but whatever the new album will be it won't be SWW part 3. They aren't those guys anymore, their lives aren't in that place anymore.

I was about to say I wasn't even doing it in here, but then I read the first two pages

But if I was going to say something sensible (like I did somewhere on the second and/or third page), I would just quote Deb, because that's exactly what I think - Vince's voice is like nails on a chalkboard.

... but balls to the wall hard rock? Maybe it's just because I'm used to their current image now, but I don't see it as being them anymore either. I don't even wanna see em rehashing SWW or NJ... gimme an album with the attitude of KTF and the thoughtfulness of TD and I'll be a happy camper.

Were Bon Jovi ever "balls to the wall hard rock" though? I mean, isn't that at least partly why they've always been slammed?

I was going to say something similar, but I didn't want to be shunned.

IMO, they never have, but they were harder in the 80's. Or maybe when people say "balls to the wall hard rock", they mean KTF

In the 80s and early 90s they were a "rock" band! Wouldn't ever say they were that heavy though just pure rock, unfortunely the music nowadays has gone a little softer and with that so have the band!

The closest thing to a "balls to the wall" rock album from the band is Faith IMO.

There heaviest songs are LYHOM, Homebound train & If I was your mother.

They have never been “Heavy” but they have been the best rock band on the planet in the past

The new albums are just poor in comparison – yes they have grown up but how about a trip down memory lane.

The people who say Vince Neil’s voices is annoying – it’s not on the new album his voice is the best it’s ever been (I was gutted when they got rid of Jon Corabi) he is no longer holding onto notes and trying to hit notes he can’t.

As soon as Motley Crap can sell out an arena and sell 125,000,000 albums with the highest grossing tour this year etc. etc.-then we can talk about it. you cannot even put the bands in the same sentence.
And as for albums after TD being bad-Are you ****ing kidding me? They are all good. HAND is one of their best albums. Whatever.
By the way,let me know the number of units sold for that Motley cd........
