But rock is actually a pretty broad term and great is subjective. I mean, I think HAND is great because it "spoke to" me the way Slippery spoke to some of you back in the day. I don't think LH is as good an album as TD or NJ but I still like a lot of the songs on it. I can still relate to the music, and that's what I judge the music on, not sales. But again, that's a matter of personal taste.

Yeah i agree with that! Also i agree with what someone said earlier, i think their last few albums have been good but they haven't been filled with all killer tracks, thats what i would like to see from the next album!

Not-a-one of their albums is filled with ALL killer tracks though. Every one has at least one turd. Most have three.

I’m not comparing the 2 – I’m saying that Crue have gone back to their roots and made (imo) a great album – makes up for the last 14 years of crap - should Jovi do the same after the last 3 albums have been average.
I think Jovi need to make a great Rock album. They can do it – do they want to though??
I think they can still do it, there are still flashes like Last Man Standing (HAND version). Musically, it totally rawked like a mutha (for Bon Jovi, let's not compare it to Judas Priest or Megadeth). Can they make an album with songs like that? I think so. Do they want it? Maybe not. Is the excuse "been there done that" lame? Yes it is.

I say SWW/NJ/KTF have no turd at all.

The 'worst' songs in these albums (Wanted DOA, Ride Cowboy Ride, Little Bit Of Souls) are still all good songs.

I can't say that for the remaining albums.

Why does it matter?

But anyway, I'm a guy. The avatar is NOT me. So those out there, STOP SENDING ME PMs AND TRYING TO HIT ON ME.
