I'm pumped about the album. I think that Bon Jovi will take the up-beat flavor of the new songs and rock it like he used to. I'm looking forward to hearing a new ballad also. Gotta Keep the Faith (cheesy I know)

The thing is, Jon is never going to tell mainstream MTV that he is shortly to put out a 'downbeat' 'introperspective' album. As ever he believes that what the public want is a 'Big Fun Rock Record' so that is what he will tell them every time on the publicity rounds.

Its the same as Tico saying before every album that this is their best album to date. I'm sure he doesnt believe that, hes got his favourite, but he aint going to say 'yeh this album is OK, probably not our best'. IMO its all hype and Jon will tell the media what he thinks they want to hear.

I would believe his comments in the Billboard interview more than what MTV have reported. I'm hoping for an album with strong lyrcis, which they have proved over the years, they can do at certain times!. Although I aint going to be shocked if we end up with another Crush or Bounce

Well I'm actually optimistic about this album and having heard the short clip of Have A Nice Day and then hearing Jon describe the album I'm looking forward to it.

But if if the worst came to the worst, I'd rather have another Bounce than another Crush.

It's the oppsoite for me! I thought I preferred Bounce but now I seem to prefer Crush

What I meant by rock it like he used to is mixing the old style with the new. There are definately rockin Bon Jovi songs recently, and maybe he'll mix the new style with the original. No matter what, I'm looking forward to hearing brand new songs without remakes. I'm curious to see the point they are at now, but I'm sure that even if its not my favorite it'll be damn good.
