Let me preface this by saying I have no musical understanding or talent, I do however have a question about a specific section in a couple of songs.

I like parts in We all fall down and Justice in the barrel where Jon suddenly seems to sing more passionately. its like he's singing higher or maybe the song gets faster im not sure. Its quite hard to describe so watch the clips lol.

Basically is the thing i'm trying to describe an actual technique in songwriting and are there any other Jovi songs that do it?
