Ooh, that was great! How long did it take you?

I used to spend hours on end playing at the Sims (first version). When the Sims 2 came out I was (and am) incredibly tempted, but I simply can't get addicted again. Such a great game, though.

I'm really, REALLY glad you guys enjoyed that. It was fun to make. I am addicted to the Sims, and there's much more you can do with SIms 2, so I saw someone else had made a Sims music video, I thought I'd give it a try. It's a cool way to play the game. Lets you be a director and play with your creativity. I would also like to try to recreate an existing video.

To answer some questions:

Yeah, she has no nipples. At least then it's not X rated.

I created the female Sim in my likeness (you got me there!), but she obviously doesn't look exactly like me. It's the only chance I'll ever get that close to Jon.

Jon was created by someone else...I tried to make my own but it was really hard to do, so I searched Jon Bon Jovi at the EA Games Sims site and found a decent enough one. I still haven't found a Richie Sambora. Trust me, I really wanted to have him in this, and the all of the guys. Maybe I'll try to make the rest of the band so I can do a better video next time.

The Sims were fighting, because the 2 got caught in their affair. At the very end, she walks away from Jon, and you see her in the yard, with a brief explosion. The Sim was really lighting fireworks, but i wanted it to look more sinister, so she was probably commiting suicide. How dark of me.

I really liked setting up these scenes. Its sometimes hard to get the Sims to do exactly what you want. I had to recreate the characters halfway through gameplay and filming the shots I wanted, because after the Sims got caught cheating, they were so angry with each other, I couldn't make them be nice to each other again, so I deleted them and started over to finish the filming. I would say this took me only 5 hours in total. Something to kill time on a boring night, with no money. :P Thanks to all of you for checking it out and enjoying it!!! I gotta find a way to get this to the Bon Jovi camp.
