There would be no point in spending money on packaging or books on, say, a 6 song ep of unreleased songs. It's not something that would ever bring in big dollars if it was released properly regardless of what it included. Such a small number of people would be interested in something like this I don't think it wouldn't break down even further for the smaller group that wants a physical copy.

In a perfect world, yeah, give me pictures and linear notes and stories about where they were written but let's be realistic. None of that stuff matters to enough people to bother.

In a perfect world I'd love another full box set, but it makes little to no financial sense, and frankly the record company would probably cheap out on packaging and notes anyway. Not to mention the fact that I doubt Island would accept another mass market release without any hits on it, especially with the state of the music industry. A "digital box set" of unreleased tracks and B-Sides could be a really cool alternative.
Speaking of physical releases though, I'm amazed that we haven't gotten vinyls. Granted, Bon Jovi aren't a hipster favorite band, but I'm sure there are enough potential buyers to warrant limited pressings, even if they only sell them through the web store. Of course why do that when they can make double the money on pink hoodies.

Bingo. It's aimed strictly at the die hards. It doesn't matter what it's wrapped in, it won't make it more appealing to the casuals and general public.

Me too, but if they to release, say, another box set, we'd probably not get the whole album in it's entirety. Maybe just the title track and a few others. I've heard a fair few of the original versions but not in the best of quality.

I really like "Nothing". This song has to be included in the new box set.

We already have it in decent enough quality. If its between that and something new, give me something new.

It's also been officially released by another artist so I think it becomes a little more difficult legally.

Although its a good b side or leaked song, its not good enough for me to want more. Yes, it should have made HAND but I think every song on that album sounds alike.

Same goes for the Jersey Demos. One of our members here cleaned them up and fixed the audio speed. Comparing what Obie did with the Prayer demo to the one we all already had, there really wasn't a significant difference. Don't get me wrong, it did sound better but if I had to choose it over new material, I choose new material.

Bo Bice's is a slightly different version though, maybe that makes a difference? Plus they wrote it.

I really don't think we are going to get another box like the last one.

I hope we do but Obie is saying that he doesn't have the material to fill one and you all think the record co doesn't want to invest in one, I'm not feeling good about it.

I think we'll get a mix of a bunch of stuff but I'm feeling a live album from this current tour mixed with stuff from the past few tours. Its the cheapest way to go and I'll be so pissed if that happens.
