There is no passion anymore. The money making machine has overtaken the drive you mention. It's become all about the brand, the #1 tour, #1 album, never-been-done-before augmented reality app, blah blah blah rather than just writing damn good music and playing it live simply to share it with people. If Jon and Richie reunite, I think there's potential for some really great songs considering the emotions both of them have probably felt the past 8 months. They won't write an album full of songs about people dicking other people over, but I think there could be some deep tracks. I'm hopeful.
