people expect it to be played
it works well live
they were singles most people will know even non diehard fans
the songs are ont he album they're touring
they actually like the songs
etc....


what should be on a set list is entirely subjective and I'm soprry to inform you that what Jon wants on there takes precedent on what you and your mates want on it.

I happen to know someone who's favourite Bon Jovi song is Say It Isn't So. I also know someone who really likes Misunderstood. As you said Seb, you like Mystery Train. So yeah, these clearly aren't "hated by everyone". Furthermore, what about people who are only seeing the band live for the first time? They're not sick of Bad Med, Sleep When I'm Dead, and whatever. People want to hear them. No setlist is ever going to please everyone. You can't say that no one likes songs just because you don't like them

How about every major band that has a huge back catalogue,every fan has a different opinion on what should be played. Maybe U2 fans dont wanna hear certain songs that the casual fan maybe going to hear.

Dont get me wrong, I dont wanna hear medicore songs like Misunderstood, sayi it isnt so and Captain Crash either. Although I think the only one that will get a look in in the next tour will be Cap Crash, thats only cos Jon thinks its a fans fave, cos the first two rows do that stupid wave to it
