The question is pointless. Since I don't really think any single is universally hated, I don't think any of those songs are what "people don't want". Then if they play a rarity (be it Mistery Train or Blame it on the love) you are already catering to the small % in the audience, if they as a whole hate or love it they still are the small % in the audience while you alienated the big % during that song. I'd say the non single rarities are what "nobody wants", yet is what we as fans crave here.
Then the non single rarities like cap crash are being played because they are fun songs, that play a part in a setlist catered to a whole audience. You have to make compromises since there are many variables here. You could swap Cap Crash for a better fun song like Blame it on the love, 99 in the shade, etc. Then the voice variable comes in and your options are cut again. If the set hadn't worked when they first started playing it, it would've changed.
So, all in all, you endure Captain Crash to get Dry County that is endured by all the non fans.
