John Shanks has a diverse resume and will probably have brought alot to the band as such. He won a Grammy for Producer of The Year last year and every artist he's worked with has gone on to have huge sucess , that pretty much make him a great producer. Will he be a great producer of Rock music? We'll have to wait and see but I think he will.
I take it Crush and Bounce dissapointed you then? How is that possible?
I didn't say Who Says You Can't Go Home sounds good. I said it has good lyrics and and just about everyone who has heard it seems to like it alot. Apparently it's along the lines of Saturday Night, one of my all time favourites.

You're optimistic without sounding like a backstager. I like that.
Anyway, Crush and Bounce disappointed me because neither of them are rock records. Both lack real guitar solo's, strong vocals and the complete attitude of a band that's making music. It sounds like 5 studio musicians trying to create something that they can't make because it's a period they've left behind.

Because Bon Jovi isn't only about the new album and their last one like it is for a lot Americans. I become a fan, and they got my respect because of what they did before Crush. And because of what they did since Crush was released I do not like the band that much anymore as I used to do. I'm a lot more loyal than the average fan is. Not that many people keep their interest in a band who has released 4 shitty records in a row.
