Same here. I actually really enjoyed this interview and was interested in what he had to say! really informative.

The format of the show to begin with shows you that this is not about the music. He was not Rock Star Jon in this interview.

I don't know I actually admire that Jon's multi dimensional vs "just" a musician and can string more than 3 words together to make a sentence. He's always been serious even in his 20's. He has more than just music in his life now and I think it's admirable.

Not like you to stick up for JBJ. You're normally the first to slag off his direction in life. Hypocrite.

Thanks for posting as I had heard about this interview, just not found it. It was kind of a yawner for me. I like 'rock star' JBJ better than 'business man or politician Jon'. It's great that he's into all that, but for me, just hit the road (tour). Bring on next spring- will it be a US summer leg or a EU summer leg in 2013?

Um, what? I think you've got the wrong person here. But obviously name-calling is the solution...

I said it before, I like him doing his charity, what I don't like about it is telling every channel about it. He still appears being desperate for attention in some way.
But criticizing him for not putting all of his efforts into music is a bit ignorant. It is his business. Yes, I would like them releasing quality albums again, because I get more out of it. But people's goals and priorities can change as they get older and I don't see any use in complaining about him not being the way he used to be.

That is uncalled for.
