Default New Phil X Interview

New interview with Phil. Talks all about last year and the whole tour and how Jon called. Even talks about how it was for him to continue and not Richie there. He says that he doesn't want Richie's job.

So conflicted about this. On one hand, it's Richie. And the songs are written better when Richie's involved, and nobody can replace his Bon Jovi stage presence. On the other hand, he's become a lazy twat, and Phil is like a kid in a candy store on stage.

I honestly think Jon is just tired of Richie's shit.

Yes. Totally agree.

Richie wants 2 things. To rock and make soulful music of which neither come from Bon Jovi.

I think from now on I will strictly refer to Richie as the drunken, lazy, asshole.

How is Richie lazy? He's been doing more stuff these past two years than ever before.

Working on his own music, playing events, going to different counties, plus stuff outside of music.

People saying the dude is lazy are just dumb remarks. Send us a list of things u accomplished this year and we'll compare.

Over the past few days reading interviews and the like, I think that this is more or less how it is,
Although I have to say his timing in leaving was terrible and he should take the flac for letting the fans down badly, and he should have told the CEO before WAN was recorded.
BUT in hindsight i think we all knew deep down that Richie hasnt been the Rockin Richie Sambore we all know and love for a very long time now.

So why is he covering Jovi songs on his club tour in Oz?

I doubt he has a problem with the tunes written back in '86.
