Considering how there's no more hitsingles and they've either saturated or outpriced pretty much every market on this planet it's going to take a few years before there's time for a new Bon Jovi album/era. Bon Jovi have turned into a "know when to stop" kind of band, and I think Jon knows it too.

It's all open to interpretation but disillusioned fan, I am not. Up until crush you always knew that you were going to get quality from Bon Jovi. A quality record with honest promotion and a solid tour to boot. They talked a good game and produced the goods - the sign of a credible act, no?
That credibility has been on a steep decline over the past decade and a half for sure, the odd decent release in between some duffers and their 'believability' as a good honest rock band that have done the right thing by their fans, etc, has been in question since Bounce. After BWC I've no doubt that last bit of credibility is on a knife edge. Calling it a day would be the sensible thing to do in order to maintain some of that legacy, releasing a new album next year would only confirm to me that this band has lost the plot.
