That's ridiculous.

If I had the money I'd surely find easily other charity thing just near where I live and maybe I could simply help there, even it's not Bon Jovi relative.
And Im sure whatever it would be they'd need more help as Bon Jovi is not sending invitation for them :s

Oh really I find this sad and it makes me feel sick.

I'm with you on this Jess...I know the money goes to charity, but why don't people just donate them money...why the need for a dinner?

I'm not sure why it makes you sick.

At least something is still being done to help and raise awareness, and that's more what these kind of things are about that actually just raising the money -

Sure, the cash is what helps but without any publicity no one will know about the issue to donate money to it in the first place.
