New Jersey by miles, it's a much more mature and rounded album. Slippery has way too much filler.

New Jersey is the best Bon Jovi album. SWW is the funner album but NJ is much better lyrically, musically and song for song.

A b-side is pretty much the same thing as an album track. It's a song that doesn't get released as a single. However, I see your point. Nowadays, most b-sides are demos or tracks that didn't make the album. Back in those days, b-sides to singles were just other tracks on the album. For example:

99 in the shade, Wild Is The Wind, Stick To Your Guns, Love for Sale and Homebound Train were all b-sides to the singles released off of New Jersey.

I think that's a bit of a stretch. There's no doubt, they used the same formula that made Slippery so big with New Jersey, but it's far from a carbon copy.

There's no song on Slippery that sounds like Blood On Blood, Living In Sin, Love For Sale or Homebound Train.

I am aware that it is most likely a "copy". But it's still great and has better album tracks.

About the b-sides thing, I thought "b-side" refered to the side of the disc back in the day. Oh well.

I don't think Raise Your Hands sounds anything like Homebound Train. Jon's voice sounds completely different. Much blusier sound to HT.

The only song I think Living In Sin sounds remotely close to is Father Figure by George Michael.
