No AALY-video in the USA?

Hello there,

I just read that the American TV should have said yesterday that VH 1 and MTV America wouldn't show the video for AALY.

I don't know the reason but I guess it's because of the "no war"-signs. Where is the freedom of speach that they always proclaim? First the actors at the Oscar-awards weren't allowed to say their opinion and now this.

Only in America. Didn´t they also edit It´s My Life video in the States or do I remember wrong? That scene where that guy jumps off the brigde? Or was it just MTV here in Europe.

It was also in America. But the reason for editing IML was that they were afraid that young people would use it as a role model and would jump from bridges, too. Quite stupid if you ask me. German channel VIVA didn't edit it and showed the complete version with the jump.

You are right...Only in America would something like this happen! I have been waiting to see AALY and because of this war it won't be shown....this bites big time!!

as far as I remember mtv germany didn`t cencor IML too, it did censor ALways, remember? when he burnt the picture. VIVA showed it.

i saw the uncencored iml version quite often but i actually never had a real desire to jump down from a bridge...

...but i've always seen him jump from the bridge, and i'm from the US...

They aren't going to show aaly AT ALL!? But it's such a beautiful video!
