Why? I don't want a singer to sing stuff I absolutely despise and deem untrue as well. I don't want dragged God into my life, I try to keep God as far away as possible. And the line "god makes no mistakes" is doing the exact opposite.

You inadvertantly bring up quite an interesting point here Seb ... is it seen as more acceptable for atheists to object to positive religious lyrics in songs (e.g in Welcome To Wherever You Are) than for religious people to object to negative religious lyrics (e.g. in Hey God)? It does seem an awful lot like you are saying here that people shouldn't dislike a song for religious reasons, but essentially that is exactly why you are saying you don't like Welcome

I admit to not actually throwing up when I hear ''remember that you're perfect God makes no mistakes.'' It's not a great line by any means but it's a nice sentiment. And I like nice things.
