Its still in my top 4 or 5 of the 14 songs released from the HAND sessions, and thinking about it is probably in my top 20 post-2000 songs. So a big thumbs up from me!

And I prefer it to I Am

Of the four HAND demos that we've heard, I think they all should have replaced songs that made it. I know some people will probably flame me for this, but I think the demos are miles better than songs like Wildflower, Bells of Freedom, Who Says, and Novocaine.

Wildflower and Bells Of Freedom are 2 of about 4 songs I like on HAND. Not a great album IMO.

Of the four demos, the ONLY songs on that I think any of them could replace are Complicated and the abysmal Wildflower.

And IMO, Novocaine is the band's best song this decade.

I love Nothing. I prefer it to I Am, and it probably would have been easier for Jon to sing also.

I like it but I Am is better. I agree with Brian on Novocaine as well.

If Nothing would have made the album it'd have been my favorite song on it...
I know everyone says it was probably Nothing or I Am...and I agree
but I'd have taken off Wildflower for Nothing personally..

The song Nothing is preferable to the song I am; and is probably the best song to come out of the HAND sessions. Tis a shame it never made the album; but Jon was never very good when it comes to picking songs for a record. But alas in the end, I have the song and that is all that really matters.

You know, that's right that "Nothing" and "I Am" are the same style. But when it goes to listening, I kinda don't like "I Am" and love "Nothing"...
