The shame is, if he really wanted to put the effort forth, he could get his voice back. He needs a new vocal coach and lots of practice. He's not like Tom Kiefer who completely blew his vocal chords out. And hell, even he is able to sing again.

Perfectly stated!!!!!

It didn't matter what he sang but how he sang it back in the day.

I saw a few videos of Def Leppard live this past week noticed Joe's voice and remembered you pointing it out one time and me just not really believing it. I apologize, it seems I hadn't heard him live in a while, the man got his voice back and then some! By the X and Yeah tour Joe's voice was shot!! It's amazing what he was able to do, and there's no reason Jon can't do the same thing.....

The optimisit in me says its doable but I think his voice has evolved and he's lost his range. He's not lost his voice, he can still sing in certain keys and hold notes technically well but he'll never sing high notes anymore. That ability is gone.

There have been a handful of moments on the last two or three tours where he's dug deep for a note, genuinely tried with all he had to get the rasp, power and pitch but everytime he comes up just short.

The days of 84-2001 JBJ are gone.
