Default Novacaine – The Aussie version

Well with the tour dragging on and an aussie tour looking less and less likely i thought i would get my frustration out on paper

Novacaine – The Aussie version

You can take back all your albums
We'll throw out all our pride
Burn all the pictures in their frames
Just pile em up, yeah, we'll be fine
Sell the neighbours all your singles
Gonna take it in our stride
It's not hard to laugh and cry, live and try every
night

Keep your rolodex of dates
And all the memories can be ours
We guess there'll be no happy endings
When “down under” is doing time
There's a different kind of meaning now
To livin' on a prayer
Jon don't seem to notice
And the yanks don't seem to care

I tell myself I (feel no pain)
But I'm feeling the pain (walk away)
Can't walk away
We’re hanging on the ropes of hope
It's getting hard to cope you know
When you're the band that’s running through our veins
We’ve changed our names to Panadine

You put our favourite songs in a box to sell right
back to us (let's get this straight)
You said the dollars way too weak
Tried to claim the record failed (that's not OK)
You're haven’t done a visit for a couple long years
now
You say they love the place, its just too far
It's all so clear

I tell myself I (feel no pain)
But I'm feeling the pain (walk away)
Can't walk away
We’re hanging on the ropes of hope
It's getting hard to cope you know
When you're the band that’s running through our veins
We’ve changed our names to Panadine (feel no pain)

Panadine

Well things ain't what they used to be
It's a sleepless, band free century
Man I’m up to here with Jon’s BS and the tour that’s
meant to be…

I tell myself I (feel no pain)
But I'm feeling the pain (walk away)
Can't walk away
We’re hanging on the ropes of hope
It's getting hard to cope you know
When you're the band that’s running through our veins
We’ve changed our names to Panadine (feel no pain)
Panadine

Panadine (feel no pain)

Panadine

We feel no pain
