Now that Richie is an actor

What kind of movie would you like to see him in?

Same here. And I'm quite sure that he doesn't start to act, maybe a short guest role here and there but no real acting.

But I could imagine him speaking an animated character, this could be funny (but is no acting).

And calling Richie an actor after a short guest role is probably a putting down of any real actor with an education.

He's the one who said he acts. If he acts, he's an actor. I'm taking his word for it.

Well, for me an actor is someone who learned it and not someone who only made a small cameo.

But I looked into the dictionary and you don't have two different words. We have two words in German language. One is "Darsteller" who is someone who is acting (for example in a daily soap opera) but without any education and "Schauspieler" for real actors with an education at a drama school or someone with long-time experiences and "learning by doing" like Jodie Foster for example who never had acting lessons. Both are acting but one of them has learned it and the other one is casted from a casting company but doesn't have any education and experiences.

But....

i wasnt gonna vote until i saw the last option. I want Richie to concentrate on his songwriting and guitar solos. they do it for me! I dont need to see richie in any other way.

I don't wanna see Richie in acting too. One actor in the band is more than enough. I think he is an incredible musician and should just keep focusing on that. Although, I do like Sambo-Chris's idea of him doing an animated character. I could just picture him on the Simpson's....that would be cool.
