It;ll be like TLFR. One off thing that is quickly forgotten when the new studio album comes out in a year or two.

i dnt think that it means they are going country (i hope not anyway) i think its more the casr that they want to work with other song writers to give them a different aspect of song writing as a whole! they have worked with follow rock artists to help write thier albums now there using country ones to help them take give them a change in wrting style but he didnt say anything about the sound just different style of writing

I am going to dehydrate drooling over your avatar.
My friend made it, who does the website with me, check it out, you will find more Tico originals on there.

This is a whole different kind of thing Ryan, they aren't taking songs that fans had very close connections with already and changing them, this is new stuff altogether, with some different songwriters and different styles. I think it will only be like TLFR in the way that like that record, it will be a one off kind of a thing. I really do think that this is just a creative stretch, a step or two outside the bands normal box and a chance tgo work with some different people.

I agree with Lynn. I say good for them for wanting to challenge themselves and do something a bit different. And I'm not worried in the least that because of this ONE time project that the band is going "country". I just don't see that happening ever!!

Same here. Nashville is a city that's alive with fresh music. You can walk into any little bar or restaurant and find live music and a lot of original music. Bon Jovi have always written the story telling kind of songs that are lyrically much like country songs. What I get from this interview is that they're looking to broaden their songwriting circle. They already work with John Shanks who has many country connections and Billy Falcon who is Nashville based. They wrote with Carolyn Dawn Johnson a few years ago.

And for anyone who fears the worst--THESE DAYS was influenced by time spent in Nashville. TLFR was done at home in Jersey.
