Same here. Nashville is a city that's alive with fresh music. You can walk into any little bar or restaurant and find live music and a lot of original music. Bon Jovi have always written the story telling kind of songs that are lyrically much like country songs. What I get from this interview is that they're looking to broaden their songwriting circle. They already work with John Shanks who has many country connections and Billy Falcon who is Nashville based. They wrote with Carolyn Dawn Johnson a few years ago.
And for anyone who fears the worst--THESE DAYS was influenced by time spent in Nashville. TLFR was done at home in Jersey.
