As far as I know he is not convicted yet... if he was, he would be in jail I guess... but if he is still walking around at the shows, it seems he is not convicted yet... was he working there? I can imagine he was there privately, not to work. Or maybe he was hired as the babysitter

I am not sure what you mean by rape children. But, technically, any sex with a minor is considered a rape, as a minor cannot give consent.

In Obie's case, if I remember correctly, it wasn't that he is "into" little kids, rather he had sex with minors. One can easily imagine the offers he gets by the occasional 16/17 year old, female fan, and in a vulnurable hormonal state, he might have "accepted".

Now, to be clear - I DON'T KNOW the details. However, this is what I seemed to remember, and also what would make sense to me, cause, if he was into child pornographie, he wouldn't be at the shows.

Technically the law says that he *is* a peodophile...although I think that most people would agree that the term is more often used with children...and a 15 year old girl these days is no child. Still makes him a dirty old man and a criminal...

I had typed this reply for another topic but it's deleted so here is it anyway;

When Obie went on tour with Bon Jovi back in 2000 or 2001 he slept with an underaged girl and was relieved from working on any tours after it as he was no longer allowed to go out of the country. The girl in question never had anything against it but her mother found out and went to the police. I'm actually not sure if he really did some jail time or had one of those ankle bracelets so he couldn't go anywhere, but he was found guilty. Jon wasn't too happy with it and tried to get him out earlier because the band needed to do a show in Europe and only Obie knew how to do certain things (yeah right). The judge didn't fall for it and said no.

The Bon Jovi camp never, ever has answered any questions about this and the only statement they released was a "no comment" one. Maybe Donna can enlighten us why she's friends with this ****head?

Wow...that's ****ed up. I'm actually ashamed of "the guys" being friends with him. That's really ****ing dissapointing.

Granted, it's not as bad as molesting/raping a child. But having sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old is still sick, and still makes him a peadophile in my eyes.

BTW, the other thread being deleted kinds of shows the justice in this world. If he has done this, which it seems like he has, does he not ****ing deserve stick for it? If a thread on Jon Bon Jovi lying is allowed, and he's allowed to be slagged off. Surely we're allowed to slag of this "man"?
