they shot the photos at Aug 19 - we first saw Jon with the new hair at the John Kerry rally on the 27th, that's like a week later

I guess some interviewer will ask Jon that when 'the press promotion' starts to kick in...

well. i'm disappointed, and for the first time in my life i will be embarrassed to purchase a Bon Jovi item. it may just be a cover, but for people out there who don't know the meaning behind it, who don't know what Bon Jovi is truly about, are going to assume this is a representation of who they are. it looks like a joke, not a tip of the hat, and i can't express how disappointed i am with them.

i'll probably end up buying it off the internet. ebay has always served me well.
then again i showed the cover to a couple of people and none of them really seemed to be taken back by it- maybe i'm just taking it hard because i'm a fan and know they can do better.
