Let's not bash the old people Not a favorite of mine either though. I just put the album back in my car - have not listened to it since last year. So far some songs stand up - such as the title track - and some don't

Good performance of These Days from a TV show. There was another version on YouTube with a better quality video but I decided to post this once since this one doesn't cut off the ending.

EDIT- Just realized that Tico didn't play with the guys on this one. Do you know where he was or th3 name of the replacement?

Mainly its drums and the production, although I'm not really a fan of the lyrics either.

Favourite is a harder choice but I rate the title track, Living With The Ghost, Devils In The Temple very highly and I love I Will Drive You Home.

I can't watch the video right now but there was one show where Obie covered for him...can't remember if it is this one though.

Yup that's Obie.

What's more interesting is that they brought some dude to play percussion here. Why they felt the need to do this for a one-off TV performance on a song like this I have no idea.

It's some other drummer and he completely misses the tempo in the beginning.

I think it was the drummer of the house band who covered at TFI Friday for Tico (who had an art exhibition the same day).

Obie covered on some Jon solo performances, don't know if he also replaced Tico at some point for a promo appearance.

You know, the music at these recent shows sounds really good. As much as I miss Richie's presence, Phil has a good guitar tone and having a second guitarist in Shanks who is actually audible really helps fill out the sound (especially since he seems more capable than Bobby). Jon's hideous vocals really make it unlistenable though. Put Jon's vocals from 2010/2011 on the background music here and you'd be left with a spectacular live record.

I'm glad you said it because I was thinking the same thing

I saw this the other day and aside from the fact that this dude is straight up annoying, he's pretty much right on with this review... Interesting but accurate take on the album... Although I agree with his breakdown, I still manage to find some enjoyment within. He's a little over the top and extreme for me but still dead on..
