Btw. does anybody know if there was a special reason why they performed Helter Skelter on an award show? (just like Here Comes The Sun in 2001 when George Harrison had passed) I know they played Something For The Pain as the current single right afterwards but playing a cover song first seems to be a strange choice.
There was a reason - they were cool back then!

Realistically speaking - I think it was down to the time slot MTV gave them for the performance which probably was around roughly six minutes and since Jon didn't seem to want to go cut their own single short, he added a portion of a cover song. They also did Saturday Night afterwards, but it wasn't televised anymore.

When I saw your video, I was going to ask if this was peak coolness Bon Jovi? Such a bad ass look/sound/performance.

Chucked a few more random Crush promos up, aside from the last vid which I forgot to check, the rest aren't on Youtube already. Nothing groundbreaking anywhere, just a loser who recorded any old shit off the telly (back when BJ did some actual promo for their stuff).

It's My Life - No Threat Edit (Slightly different cut which got rid of the dangerous jumps)

Pepsi Chart Show Interview:
MTV Crush Promo Interview :
GMTV Letterman Rooftop Rehearsal:
Party In The Park T4 Interview:
Say It Isn't So CD:UK (Playback):
Its My Life Video Behind The Scenes:
I've got a load of random old DVD of 90s TV appearances and whatnot that I came across while tidying, so will chuck more up when I get bored before the Mrs gets me to throw them away!

It's the band recording tracks on their own and sync'ing them together, people are talking like they need to re-film Avatar, none of this is difficult. Any professional with a video editor can do it and with it being primarily one take, not time consuming. The Voice said no to the Band using a new track but okay'd Lady Antebellum? Proper instruments?

Look, they've been a band for 30+ years and done much more with less technology. I have to to just think the song wasn't ready and that's all it is. Everything else doesn't make sense.
This is awesome!!! Thanks so much!!!

Talk about Bon Jovi being lazy these days. They agreed to transmit live footage from their concert to a festival in Italy, but in fact it seems they just mimed to the (already recorded and mixed) track from Tampa 1993 and sent that over
