That was the greatest thing I've seen in probably 15 years. Jon should have released that album and toured it with Aldo and his band. Is there more?

Jon was on stage for 3 songs as far as I know: Blaze of Glory, Blood on the Bricks and All Right Now (Bad Company cover).

A "home movie" shot on an analog Video 8 camera by Mark Bowman Images of the 1991 KLOL-FM Houston Rock and Roll Auction (with musical performances) at The Summit in Houston, Texas.

This video starts with the ribbon cutting by Paul Rodgers and Kenney Jones. Next comes a short set by The Arc Angels (Doyle Bramhall II & Charlie Sexton, with Double Trouble's Tommy Shannon and Chris "Whipper" Layton. Next up comes a set by Night Ranger, followed by an unbelievable "Unplugged" setlist performed by hometown heroes, "King's X" fresh from their "Faith, Hope, Love" tour. Lastly, we get a scorching set from Aldo Nova, who is joined by his pal, Jon Bon Jovi for a little "Blaze Of Glory" and more. Finally, Paul Rodgers and Kenney Jones join the team for a closing jam on Free's "All Right Now".....

These annual KLOL-FM Rock and Roll Auctions were a highlight of the year in Houston.... 24 years ago - a little snapshot of Houston music history....!

(PS - The camcorder microphone was overloaded by the PA System, but you will get the idea.....lots of energy and excitement in this one too!!) These video uploads are completely nonprofit, no copyright infringement intended. The intention is rather to encourage those among the audience who enjoy the clips to buy the artists' CDs and DVDs and thus support them or their legal heirs.

That's amazing. I was only let down by the instrumental part of Blaze Of Glore. I thought that Aldo and Phil X would be able to play the lead and rhythm parts satisfactorily (Jon & Richie much better and one of them is not a guitarist).
It's obvious how much safer the band was in Blood On The Bricks. I loved the video (so I posted it on Aldo's profile on facebook ).

I love Jon singing BOTB. He sings it like he owns it and brings a whole new dynamic to the song. It kill me to know he worked on an album between Blaze and Faith, during his vocal prime, and the songs were sung by someone else.

Someone needs to try and clean that audio. That is a hidden gem.
