Default Anyone Here Aware of the FOREVER Signed Album Fiasco?

There are discussions over reddit and a couple of other sites that a lot of it are auto pen.

Basically the ones from the US are. But many are saying the ones bought in Europe got legit ones.

Anyone bought the signed albums of FOREVER here?

I've seen what you are posting about, but I have no idea if they are right about the auto pen or not? I didn't buy a signed copy of Forever myself. Also I don't know how many of them were even sold? I can see Jon actually signing a limited number, but if there were lots of them available I would tend to doubt he actually signed them all. I obviously have no proof if he did or if he didn't.

I did think it was suspicious how the UK managed to find more signed copies the week of release, when Jon hasn't over here to hand sign them....

I purchased 2 and one I believe is real and the other seems fake.

I immediately took advantage of the offer when it first presented itself thinking it would be limited so I'm pretty sure that's where the real one came from... Then when the offer resurfaced, I purchased a second one and that's the fake.

Because I have a real one, I'm not flipping out over the other or I would be...However Bon Jovi should make this right.

This has definitely picked up steam in other outlets. In a year where there has been a pretty concerted effort to drum up good publicity for the band, this is a stupid unforced error. Especially with those social media posts they did showing Jon signing truckloads of copies to ‘sell’ the lie. Not a great look!

I know consensus on Reddit has been US copies are fake, Euro copies are genuine. But who knows.

I ordered CD this week because my friend is in UK now, but I probably won't recognize if it is real or auto-pen when I get it.

I got a signed card. Don’t know if it’s real or not.

Sorry, did anyone actually believe that Jon (or any celebrity) actually signed these things? Lordy.

If something is advertised as hand signed by the band member then yes, you expect them to be hand signed by the band member. If they aren't then they have been mis-sold.

I've worked with many bands for over the last 25 years, some pretty big bands, and NONE of them have ever sold fake signatures on products that are advertised as personally signed.

It's dishonest.
