This lightyears better than the shitty official video. This one here captures the true meaning of the song.

I so agree. Maybe because the official video is so far from the truth, it gives the fans a wild run for their imagination. This particular vid is the best I've seen so far.

The first few months of the tour 2013, Jon did not sound like Iheart Radio, there was really a great vocal enhancement in the first leg shows. But then Richie left, and Jon began to have problems, I suppose too many problems in the head to solve, the pressure of the tour to follow, his vocal effort in the next legs .... something broke along the way.

The last shows of the BWC tour were worrisome, it was no longer a question of having no voice, Jon seemed to be sick to sing. I think he has done an irreversible damage.

Do you think that Jon was operated in 2014-2015 but the thing has not gone well?

No. Like you said, the the very end of 2013 was already horrible and he sounded pretty much the same in 2014 and 2015, only slightly worse. The decline was gradual, where it would've been very obvious that one night he sounded completely different than before.

AFTER the end of the 2011 tour. Bad choice of words. Technically since 2012

I personally HATE his nasal voice so any small decline is very noticeable and off-putting. Add a poor album to the mix and the fact that I'm sick of the GH setlist. A few good vocal performances and the occasional "not too played to death" album cut were not enough to justify spending money in a band going through the motions. I do admit that Jon didn't sound that horrible in hindsight, just... decent at most in some shows.

I'd be more than happy to have some of those European performances again, though.

Their interaction most of the time was anything but spontaneous and not only during the first leg of the BWC tour. Of course they had their moments and of course they couldn't always stick to a script and act all the time, but if you pay attention you'll see that most of the time there are cues that signal when they are going to have a Jon+Richie moment. Which I feel is another of the big reasons (if not THE reason) why Jon looks so uncomfortable now, he doesn't have that crutch-when he's not singing he's moving around, trying to find something to do, whereas before there was always the option of interacting with Richie. Compare any show where Jon is clearly pissed at Richie for whatever reason VS a show where they barely interact except when the script says so but when they do it, it's a great act. Which show flows flawlessly and which one doesn't? hehe

This is just my personal opinion based on my personal observations (disclaimer lol). I'm not saying "their relationship was fake!!!1!" at all, only that their interaction was a big part of the brand and it was their job to sell it convincingly.

I stumbled upon an early Always with slightly different lyrics. When is this from, this show https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/bon-j...2bded4ee.html?

And then this one from the same promo tour (only audio)

This reminds me how much I loved Always back in the day

Yes, it was some sort of charity concert or something at Madison Square Garden and other acts played there as well. I've forgotten the details though.

I was actually at this show and still have my ticket stub.. Z100 is one of the biggest radio stations in NYC and every year they put on an all-star Christmas concert with a bunch of bands. It's called Jingle Bell...

I believe this was the show Green Day had a shit-fit demanding they close the show... They tried to mock Bon Jovi by playing Wanted and were expecting boos but instead the entire arena decided to sing along instead...
