After listening to the full show I have to ask this: Is this Jon's best live vocal performance ever? I mean there are some shows like Rotterdam 89, Philly 89, and the rest of the shows from April and May 93 but this one seems to be the very best for me.

In the past 3 days, I think I've listened to this show more than I've listened to anything new within the past 15 years...

German bootlegs from back in the day rival Japanese ones...

The answer to your post is subjective...There is no such thing as a bad performance from back in the day... I think this is one of the best in this quality of the audio... I actually prefer these over soundboards.... There are definitely better like Count Basie 1991 but like I said in the beginning, there is no such thing as a bad performance...

Serious contenders from this era (in terms of consistency throughout the show) would be these for me:
Brussels 1993 (the band's energy was insane there!)
Copenhagen 1993 (I remember being VERY impressed when listening to the audio bootleg)
Wembley 1993 (same story as Copenhagen)
Milan 1993
Oslo 1993

All of these are easy to find on Youtube in full.
