My coworker told me she heard a country version of I’ll Be There for You today. She said she knew it wasn’t Jon because he doesn’t twang. My mission when I got home was to find it. This was released by The Cardboard Cutouts in August 2017.

I had deliberately left that out even though I adore the show as well. Jon started with stunning energy and vocals, but couldn't hold it for all of the show. Of course there were only minor flaws like a flat sounding I'd Die For You (plus I think around 2 more songs) and him missing his playback cue in In These Arms. But you have to draw the line somewhere because otherwise the whole of April until mid-May would qualify for the list

There's absolutely no bad show or bad performances from the early KTF Tour legs. What you'll get are performances that are better than others and stuff - but nothing bad. I'd recommend any of them!

BTW - Hamburg 1993 rules - one of the best shows on the tour!

See, I'm on the opposite end... I love seeing musicians go outside their comfort zones and showcasing other talents, even if it's not perfect... It takes them off autopilot and makes it somewhat real... Just like when Jon sat behind the drums in '04...

And BTW, it's just one song for crying out loud... It's not like it's the entire show...

IDFY is one of the bands best solos. JBJ completely ruined it.

Absolutely agreed! I'd Die For You has one of the most blazing rock solos in the band's catalogue and Jon completely took the energy out of it. He can attempt a solo in one of the covers, but not there.
