Bon Jovi - double - It's My Life + I'd Die For You (Feb. 15, 2011)
I never understood why Bobby played Richie's solos. It was not good.

Me neither, he had already slashed I'd Die For You in Osaka 2006.

In this video you can see how THRILLED Jon was by that solo

Being that Bobby has played guitar for so many years and has played with all those big names, it's absolutely beyond me how incapable he is of playing guitar solos that isn't slaying a single note till death. I'm not saying you have to be a techincal genius and shredd the guitar, but at least add some melody to the solo with some sort of finess. I could find players on the local music school that could pull of more decent solos.

Another stunning Dry County peformance:

Jon's scream at the launch of the solo gave the song even more edge!

Wow. Jon had a great voice on the KTF tour, that way of ripping it, incredible.

Can someone put what Jon says before the solo?

Very soon every man has to wake up
and face himself in the mirror
Pours himself a coffee, wife's asleep
no desire to be up what he'd like to see sometime
and sometimes he might have to see a man
sometimes he might see a prince
sometimes he might see above
and sometimes that pain in the ass might just be staring
right back at you and saying
"Good morning ****er, it's another time to go to work,
you gotta go and earn that paycheck
you gotta go and slain everyday
you don't know what you're gonna bring home
just a little bit of something,
maybe a lot of nothing,
there's a lot of broken hearts out there in the heartland, baby
And I tell you what,
it ain't gettin' any easier, is it
and it ain't gettin' any harder
to make that truth mine
sometimes...aaaaahhhh!"
