Jon pushing his 80's voice out during the breakdown of Saturday Night one last time was something amazing, and that scream... holy Christ, I miss that guy.

EDIT: That was probably the last time Jon did a LONG scream, right? The later screams have been more like short yelps/howls.

EDIT 2: Forget it, he did another scream like that at home last week when Dorothea accidentally kicked him in the nuts while sleeping.

I still don't really understand why they used to slow down Silent Night that much in 1987 considering that it showed the strain of Jon's voice that much more:

I was at that show as were several other people from this forum. I was not expecting much because Richie was not there and I remember being abslutely blown away.
