Bon Jovi on "TFI Friday" 1996 [FULL] - YouTube
He was at the opening event of his art exhibition on the day the program was filmed.

But maybe he went too far by trusting his voice to be able to carry those screams and raspy vocals and it backfired on him.
Yeah and afterwards he did it once again during the HAND tour with him going nuts on a lot of shows. I think that paved the way for his rapid decline. Loved his improvement on the LH tour but he was just not near on his early 2003 form which sucks.

Holy f***ing shit, Jon was on fire in Uniondale 2011! For instance, he performed one of the best post-2k versions of IBTFY there:

https://youtu.be/m_YUvtynmW8

He went completely - I mean, COMPLETELY - nuts on KTF:

https://youtu.be/-n_yFDFSfo8

He absolutely nailed BOR:

No matter how amazing the Sao Paulo '17 show was, it still was that only by Jon's post-'11 standards... THIS is the Jon I miss:

Here's an example:

https://youtu.be/g-2JoQoSQd4?t=1h49m45s

Jon pushing his 80's voice out during the breakdown of Saturday Night one last time was something amazing, and that scream... holy Christ, I miss that guy.

EDIT: That was probably the last time Jon did a LONG scream, right? The later screams have been more like short yelps/howls.

EDIT 2: Forget it, he did another scream like that at home last week when Dorothea accidentally kicked him in the nuts while sleeping.

He pulled one off at MSG the same tour - during Who Says You Can't Go Home:

I still don't really understand why they used to slow down Silent Night that much in 1987 considering that it showed the strain of Jon's voice that much more:
However, some of these performances were the first appearances of the famous "ballad-ad-libs" and some parts are really passionate.

I was at that show as were several other people from this forum. I was not expecting much because Richie was not there and I remember being abslutely blown away.

Skip to the live performance. I'm pretty sure that he sounds back like he was before they have their big break. Pre SWW in short. Don't know if the sound or the mic was messed up during the performance but he really sounds like his original self here.
