This is exactly what i mean, i can hear by myself that jon is a really bad singer nowadays but that's not the point. i'm not saying that he doesn't have to share his opinions, but It doesn't mean that he can "insult" anybody that has a different opinion every single time

There are two ways to view this...

You have fans that want to wake up one morning and have Jon sing the way he did once upon a time ago. They will not accept anything else until Jon sings the way he did during 20--

Then you have fans who live more in a reality and know that the above is not going to happen overnight... Its a progression due to hard work and determination... None of us really know what Jon is going through vocally and we've discussed our opinions as to why it is the way it is to death.

There is a very good chance that Jon may never sing the way he once did ever again... I've come to accept that not because I'm some fan boy but I'm a realist. Jon is developing a new singing technique which involves 'breathing'. I personally think there is more in Jon than most of us believe especially when it comes to range but his breathing is restricting it. He is working it out and improving more and more with each video he posts...However, there are two things that make me happy.

The first is improvement. Jon has always been that "never give up type of guy". When Jon was doing those promo shows in early 2016 I though that there was no way he'd ever get through that tour. I was saying that we'll never hear another ballad and he needs to go acoustic...

The second is passion/showmanship which did lack a little during the first run of this tour... By the end of the SA tour, Jon shut me the **** up... He was doing all ballads and brought so much passion that São Paulo might be my favorite/most watched show since The BWC tour...

When I see these current vids, I agree they are not perfect and I wouldn't play them at a dinner party however, I am hearing something that I never thought I'd hear again which are these songs being done live as close to their original form as possible. It's not acoustic in some random key or some shitty TLFR version...

That's why I'm getting excited. It might never be perfect and this very well could be the Jon we will have going forward. However, with continued improvement, throw those vocals behind a full band, with arena acoustics, crowd energy, and some passion from Jon's performances and we could have one heck of a tour... The better Jon sings, the more confidence he gets, and more passion he puts into his performances... Domino Effect...

I'm really curious to hear these two new songs. Not because I can't wait to hear new music but more so to hear Jon's current studio voice... I'm really crossing my fingers that there are some surprises in there...

So back to my question from yesterday. Did anyone get a full Soundboard recording of TYFLM?

That's fair. I stand by my original point, but I should've deleted that last sentence (the one you quoted). It didn't add any value to the argument, but made the overall sentiment harsher than necessary. Sorry about this, as well as contributing to this offtopic.

I'd argue that your reply towards me was more insulting than what I originally written. I didn't go after anyone specifically, didn't call any names or bad adjectives; I said "people". Even if my delivery wasn't the most polite, it didn't wasn't offensive (unless you're Jon), nor did it break any rules.

However, I do somewhat understand your view, because I felt the same way when I first came here. I was mostly a happy fan while Supersonic seemed like a 'hater' to me. Not sure if that is you being new on this board or a new fan altogether, but I think we all go through phases. Bon Jovi is a favorite band to all of us and after many years and a healthy number of disappointments (e.g. vocal declines, lackluster albums, departure and substance abuse of a former member) we are all honest with ourselves. I'm not all negative - I liked the last record, I loved the HOF induction news, I love certain performances that bonjovi90 and other people post here regularly and my posts prove it. But if we're discussing one of the subjects I'm previously listed, I speak what I feel with no filter.

Unless we're being attacked directly, it's up to us to ignore the posts/people that we feel do not contribute, because questioning another person's motives for being a member here if he 'hates everything' or asking him to 'stop doin this' when there weren't any rules being broken is certainly isn't of any value either. Just move on then.

They clearly lip-synced this one for a video shoot and this Pro Shot footage hasn't been around before.

Agreed. And it's lip synced to the OWN 2001 version, as far as I know they were doing the original arrangement that tour so it wouldn't make sense to be fan made, this would have had a purpose.

Also not for nothing, the version of this song is horrendous.

As i already said this isn't about opinions, because frankly we might even have the same pov as i share many things that you say about jon and his voice. What is annoying is the fact that ,believe me, whenever somebody is a bit "optimistic" you're always there criticizing, treating them as incompetent and stupid, and quite frankly is a bit " offensive" even if nobody is directly mentioned:Anybody can have his own opinion, maybe different from yours but not necessarily wrong!! Anyway, didn't want to create any flame or to tell you how to behave, i'll get back in read-only mode

It doesn't feel like a music video though. It feels more like the performances that they used to record for Top Of The Pops style shows back in the 90s...

Also not for nothing, the version of this song is horrendous.
