I've always wondered why they didn't a high quality studio version of this song.

I agree. For me, it's way better than the electric version (that kicks ass, don't get me wrong).

The acoustic rendition shows the true potential that Superman Tonight has had. Even though I like most of the acoustic rendition (even heard one live in Stuttgart 2013), the Valentine's Day performance from 2011 is far better than any other. Simply due to the harmonies and the change of lead vocals near the end:

The whole Valentine's Day show in Toronto '11 was amazing. My God, that encore...

Thank You For Loving Me

Wanted Dead Or Alive

Someday I'll Be Saturday Night

Just Older

Livin' On A Prayer

No real rarities (besides TYFLM), but f***, is that a fabulous five or what!

Add to that Blood On Blood opening the show, In These Arms on the first part of the main set (before Bad Medicine) and Bed Of Roses + I'll Be There For You during the "Circle" section, and you've pretty much got as perfect of a BJ set as there can be with no ultra-rare songs.

Definitely one of the best OWN tour gigs (at least for me) - Washington 2001:

https://youtu.be/PTZNXETViHQ

Jon was on absolute fire during KTF, Saturday Night and IBTFY, just to name a few. The sound quality of the video is pretty muddy at first, but it gets better as the show goes along.

I was actually at this show! This was the only time I've ever seen this band outside of the NY, NJ, & Philly area... This tour (along with the OWN Live one) were the most amount of shows I've ever attended on a single tour.

Looking at this particular show now, it's freaking fantastic. However being there during that time, the show was just okay. Sure it had some moments but overall, I thought it lacked energy. I remember leaving with a disappointment. There is nothing like seeing this band in their home towns and after that, I decided to never see them again outside of that...

Chapel Of Love - Jon played on the PIANO (it's about time) a one verse rendition prior to TYFLM - Maria Menounos NYE Wedding...

Hopefully she posts TYFLM in full (or at least until the part where I could mesh the two SBDs together)

That's pretty cool - nice to see Jon playing piano again.

I know this will only appeal to certain fans of which I am one... But here is an awesome live version of King of the Mountain from back in the day
