Lh has a good start then after Any other day drops off a cliff yet....bonus tracks walk like a man , put the boy and Lonley were better than 75% of the tracks picked for this album.

Very much agreed! The songs on the 2nd half aren't too bad on their own (I personally like One Step Closer quite a lot), but there's no flow, no change of dynamics and the songs just blur into each other. Had Walk Like A Man and Put The Boy Back In Cowboy been placed in there, it could've made for a much better overall flow.

Agreed (though I don't mind the flow (or the missing thereof)), except that Put The Boy is a carbon copy of that Queen (?) song...

Have to disagree here, I much prefer the 2nd half to the first.

Everybody's Broken-Strangers-Last Night-One Step Closer is as good of a four-song sequence on a Bon Jovi album as it gets for me. Especially, The Last Night, such an underrated gem. I was incredibily lucky to hear the last (probably ever) performance of it at the O2 in 2010.

I agree however on Walk Like A Man. That should've been a lead single!

Talking about family: my youngest loves her BJ tunes in the morning and shakes her whole body in hear children's chair. She loves THINFS for example, RC, HAND, TWWTM, and so on, but WWWU? Not so much. Telling? I don't know
Wildflower is crap for me as well, and for some reason I don't like Novocaine that much either - that's why I consider LH to be a better album than HAND. It only has one crap song (ILTT) and even that one somehow works live for me - same as WSYCGH.

Wildflower is good. It has smart lyrics and the verses have a really nice melody.

Definitely one of the best post-'01 IBTFY versions I've heard:

https://youtu.be/mQ8zKF2EGLQ

The way Jon gets into the song (especially during the ad-lib part) is simply astonishing. Richie's on fire as well.

Damn that is awesome. Toronto and Montreal are such kick ass Bon Jovi concert cities.

They were. This, on the other hand, was probably the best moment Toronto got to witness in the two BJ concerts last year:

https://youtu.be/5ECE6YLisXY

Jon absolutely nails the high "Lay my hands on YOOOOOUUUUU...", but his vocals on the rest of the song are very inconsistent and sometimes (very audibly) out of tune. Compared to the IBTFY performance I posted above, it's a sad thing to witness.

Or what do you think - was Always better?

https://youtu.be/LrRyzZ_paEs

The way Jon's voice cracks on the last "will love YOU" (or, as he pronounces it, "will love YAAA") reminds me of my puberty...

As for Montreal, here we have Jon going nuts on Saturday Night back in 2010:

https://youtu.be/AYw_TnRZSs4

That was such a great era. I miss it a ton.

However, Jon was even more possessed with the same song in Sydney (night #3):

https://youtu.be/hSqDW6LQZp8

Nashville '13 was great, too (even better - vocally more consistent - than Cleveland for me):
