HEY HEY HEY HEY GOD!!!!!

https://youtu.be/nQ7EYEAV0Ms (Dublin 2011, night #2)

Damn, the GH tour kicked ass! Both nights in Dublin must've been among the best post-'96 BJ concerts.

https://youtu.be/ygFfdXBYgXo (These Days - night #1)

https://youtu.be/X_31FwIfFYk (Always - night #1)

https://youtu.be/OXsJR9OSsjY (Always - night #2)

https://youtu.be/Fw2x1Cpxebg (Damned - night #2)

https://youtu.be/O_Vq1iGkHLY (Dry County - night #1)

https://youtu.be/s8DVNpPQ-yE (Prayer - night #1)

https://youtu.be/H0Cqp45vLLA (Prayer - night #2)

https://youtu.be/UQcWsKt96s8 (LTOR - night #2)

PS. Sorry for putting these vids in a non-chronological order - I'm feeling (and therefor being) lazy tonight...

I've read that so many times that I basically picture you sitting in front of old Jovi videos sobbing over some high notes he used to hit

LMAO

Not literally... but I can't help feeling "a bit" sad, y'know. I think we all think alike on this subject nowadays. Am I right? AM I RIGHT?

Can I get an amen? AMEN!

Hallelujah, brothers and sisters!

https://youtu.be/KcB85CyloUw

Holy shit, that 3rd night in Sydney '10 really was something else... once again, here's that magical version of Something To Believe In that's been posted here probably dozens of times already - however, this is probably "just" the third time by me:

https://youtu.be/67ySaGogCK0

For about 5 1/2 minutes, we're back in the nineties again. Is it wrong for me to say that this performance of STBI was probably Jon's best vocal performance of a single song since 1996 (alongside this version of Always)?

https://youtu.be/hSRgXTL46OY

He hits every single note. EVERY. SINGLE. NOTE. No matter if they're high or low, he nails them, and it doesn't sound forced, either. What happened within the following three and a half years that made him lose his vocal control and consistency has been discussed plenty of times (with many different views and opinions having been displayed), but I'm still confused. I mean, the guy could probably even have sung My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms with relative ease had he tried back then, and nowadays he can't even sing Who Says or Because We Can without f***ing up at least 75% of the notes he goes for...

He probably just growls silently and bites his teeth to prevent himself from having a rage outburst.
He probably drinks Wine if he gets really pissed off.

Really? And I thought you all listened it >_< 'cause I put "bon jovi brussels 1984" on google and in the first page I found this:
http://www.guitars101.com/forums/f90...-a-209435.html
http://www.bonjovimuseum.com/main/ol...tours/id44.htm
but I don't know what quality were the audios in those pages, anyway I'm going to record it with my iPhone from my computer so at least you hear something

btw I like THINFS album (actually I like all the BJ albums) but I'm not CRAZY about it! you know what I mean?

I probably do have it... I just figured if Bon Jovi 90 didn't have it, I didn't either... I have so much stuff, I forget what I have sometimes...

I frequently come back to this performance of Always. It’s not even a real show. And it’s just magic.

I agree. The whole song just sounded so easy for Jon to sing there. It was absolutely unbelievable. In terms of vocal consistency, 2010 was probably his best year since 1996. Besides just a couple of bum notes in February, Jon was on f***ing fire throughout the whole year. This version of These Days is mind blowing:

https://youtu.be/gooaY45jvcM

It's literally crazy how good he was sounding back then - not only from today's perspective, but period. For a 48-year-old man with more than 25 years of (mostly) high-pitched singing behind him, his range was still pretty damn impressive in '10. Also here:

https://youtu.be/q9RPebGaVyM

Jon brings back his 90s voice on the last "Ain't nobody left but us..." part and the crowd participation towards the end of the song is absolutely stunning. How I wish a time machine existed...
