The story behind this are a couple of conversations with fans recently that have been, let's say, quite far over the edge.
To give you one background story: There have been a couple of fans who were quite insistent on what they want as an upload and what not and they kept sending PMs like "Why U upload that? I said we want xy...". I'm not one to ignore these messages, but kept discussing this stuff in a polite way in the beginning, until it got more and more unfriendly. I explained in more than one case that I'm doing this for fun and as a hobby (some actually really thought I'd earn my living with this account) and that I'd only do it as long as I'd enjoy it.
One person actually (similar to how some conversations in the forum are) got really unfriendly because I wouldn't focus on doing shows after Richie's departure. Another one told me that they wanted Rio 1990 remastered and I explained that this is basically not possible due to the bad soundboard and video mix. The answer was that I'd better not waste my time on this if I wasn't capable of doing the job.
The one that took it over the edge was a user who replied to my explanation of doing it just for the fun that I'd be in no position to discuss because they are the ones that watch (ironically always using the plural while it's probably just one) and I'd depend on them, because I wouldn't have any other option. I replied that I can take the videos/channel down anytime and the answer was: "haha sure no one has balls to do that on their channel." Well, I did.

I'm not too happy on it because I think many really enjoy watching it, but it's a phenomenon I've also noticed on JT more and more. People get extremly insulting if they don't get what they want, or if someone expresses a different point of view.
If it had only been one user, I wouldn't have taken action, but during this Hall of Fame period some really seemed to lose their heads.
Maybe some will re-think their attitude now.
That's very sad. I really hope it's just a temporary move, but if it's permanent, I'd like to thank you for releasing all those great videos. I'll really miss watching them.

Woah, those are some really arrogant as*holes. But I have to thank you for all the time you put In and all the stuff you uploaded because that was one of the reasons I became a fan. I watched those incredible performances and went like "Damn, those guys were phenomenal back in the day". So once again, thank you for everything and I accept your decision.

People are such idiots on Youtube. Although it's not just there (and here as you mention it) there's just no middle ground for any debate. You're either Team A or Team B, and the mud just flies between them. It's disappointing that's the way of the world these days seemingly.

Your YT channel is absolutely immense and myself and many others appreciate the work that you have put in. But for your sanity, ignoring comments would be the way to go, in the same way I'm amazed any celebrity reads their Twitter mentions for the vitriol that gets sent.

I agree. Just ignore those people and upload what you and other fans (the ones that are easier to deal with) want, but don't take your channel down permanently. Please, Dominik - your channel already was an important part of my (and probably quite a few other's as well) Bon Jovi fandom before even getting to acknowledge this forum... your videos have made our day multiple times. You're the f*cking boss, man; just stop caring and bring back the vids for us, please.

Nooooo!!!

That's incredibly sad news...

I honestly think you have/had the best Bon Jovi channel on YouTube for diehards like us. It was stamp of quality - I always knew that you bring the best possible quality of those recordings and the performances you put are always worth checking out even if I wasn't aware of some of them beforehand.

If you decide that this stop is the permanent end, I will understand. However, I selfishly hope that at least you consider the option of keeping the channel open to have the existing videos available to enjoy. There are a lot of performances that your channel has the only available versions on YouTube. And for non-bootleggers non-traders non-collectors like me, that's everything. After all, it wouldn't cost you a dime of effort - all the work is done on those existing videos and the idiots demanding specific new content, can just suck it

Whatever your ultimate decision is, thank you for the amazing run!

bonjovi90 You have done an incredible job of remastering and editing, please do not close your channel, there will always be idiots in the comments, you should keep the positive comments.

You give Bon Jovi a good name, please, I beg you, do not close the channel, and I encourage you to continue uploading what you want to share with us, the fan community.
