I'm afraid to say the line on Last Man Standing about not lip-synching is pretty much a lie. The level of doctoring displayed on that video is not far from them displaying a playback track on top of the original performance.

Is this really what has become of the once greatest live band on the planet?
Every band uses it... Jon just happens to use it a little more than others these days...

I'm honestly wondering what the story behind these videos is?
All live performances since South America last year have been uploaded as "unlisted" and most of the time not even in HD.
Why are they there and who gets the links to spread them?

When you say all... I think there were three prior... and they did not come from the official Jon Jovi page so who knows what the story is behind that....

This current video is on their official Bon Jovi web page... They are just using YouTube as the vehicle to post the videos... sounds like there is a series of them getting release...

I guess instead of a DVD (That no one would buy) they are just giving away some highlights to fill the fans void before the next major release or tour....

Come to think about it, this might be one of the longest stretches in a while where we didn't get any major releases (unless you count RSO)...

This House came out in 2016...

He's pretty off time in the first verse, wow.

Most pop artists use it (again, not all). Most rock bands wouldn't touch it and would lose serious cred if they did. Of course there are exceptions! Autotune gives off such a specific tone to the vocal that it's too easy to spot.

I think we are talking about two different things.

Yes, auto tune gives off that very digital robotic sound...

Then there is auto note correct that can clean up bad notes that have been recorded... like how the RARHOF performances on HBO sounded nothing like the original posted versions... that's what I was referring to when I say all bands use it... agree, not all artists use autotune when singing live...

ESPECIALLY bands who can't afford expensive production are gonna use it because it saves studio time. Of course, if you're a crust punk band, you probably won't, but melodic rock? Yeah, sure.

Seems to be autotune for the whole song.
Even the verses I checked are hit correctly.
And saying that ALL bands use it is wrong.
Never say stuff such as "100's of people like it so it must be safe?", "It'll be fine", etc.

I made a comment about the right date (it's May 3, no May 5)
Let's see if they read/post our comments... http://www.bonjovi.com/livin-on-a-pr...ive-in-philly/
