Great acoustic start of SIBSN in my opinion. It's from some 2001 show.
I wish he continued with acoustic exactly that way.

The way he sang "Hey man" part haha.
I think there's a similar version with the same type of intro on the OWN album but that one is from 1995/96 if my memory serves me right.

Yeah from Melbourne 1995 IIRC.

Jon did that start a few times on the OWN tour - in Cardiff he somehow managed it to mangle two lines into something like 2 words. The most overuse of his accent I've probably ever heard on stage.

Do you have any link or so to the SIBSN of Cardiff?

Yes Melbourne 1995 is correct.

I wonder where Jon got the idea of using that accent from? Bruce?

Just checked and it doesn't seem to be on Youtube. I remember that Jon's sitting came out on stage and was sitting there with big headphones on before he started the song.

There are only 3 - 4 performances of Cardiff ones on YT. They are very standard ones such as LYHOM, Always and maybe something else.
I wonder if there is any audio of show if not both audio and video.

There's a complete video bootleg of the show.

Great jukebox section inlcuding a rare performance of Hippy Hippy Shake amongst Jumpin' Jack Flash and Glory Days!

I think I had some Cardiff vids on my old YT account but that went kaput ages ago, sure I have the boot knocking around somewhere.

Just was rewatching this show...

incredible how even born to follow sounds very good with the great mood of Jon. Even working man and who says (!). Jon's voice was very good too. He was clearly very comfortable. Was not in this period that he was treating his vocal with a person who used to kills chickens?

PRetty good concert.

The last chorus of TAALS in that concert is perfect.

If that somehow magically happened the next concert then BJFan99 would pass out.
