Now we know why Richie left the band.
I don't see why in this video.

An absolutely stunning performance, and video, of Always from 2013 (with Judas Sambora). This must be one of the last times that Jon sang Always this well. Also, I just looked at the setlist from this show, and wow!

Bon Jovi Always Nashville March 6, 2013 - YouTube
Judas Sambora? seriously ?, Jon crushed and sold the band, especially Richie with that stupid perfection, to the glory of JBJ, The Man.

Anyone people will tell that it is not healthy to do so many tours for years without a long break. The members was in their 50s, and Jon had the whim to do another tour, and we all know what his motivation was (Buffalo Bills).

Jon's selfishness made all this happen, he pushed too much, and I'm sure by now, Jon knows it, but he's so proud and still so egocentric that he will never admit "my fault".

Jon finally lost his voice because of Jon. That stupid overexertion in 2013 deteriorated something that will never recover again. That is why other more intelligent musicians, canceled tour for the sake of their health.

In short, Jon broke the toy, he hurt himself and some of his musicians.

Without wanting to completely redo the whole Richie debate, I get why he left. But the way he left, at the time he did, was not the most ethical of methods.

We all have a limited patience I suppose, there was something that maybe we do not know, and that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

A part of me, also blames Jon for breaking up Richie again. The guy was in a good physical moment and in his game after Aftermath of the Lowdown. But this event made everything go to hell. Richie has not been the same again.
