Look, I get why you would think that way but I don't know their relationship. I think it was pretty obvious that Jon and Richie had their problems with each other and probably individually, but and I don't know whether they ever really talked about it. In my book they are both not strong enough to actually fight about it. Richie probably never confronted Jon and the way he left was crappy, no matter how unsatisfied Richie was for whatever reasons. I doubt it is as black and white as you put it.

I'm not slighting any member, past or present, just politely asking threads stop being mucked up by "is Jon to blame or Richie". I'm not opposed to a thread being started so if anyone wants to go nuts with theories it's a place to go nuts.
