Nice find. Was this in 1998 or 1996? I was under the impresssion that one of the Destination Anywhere album songs was written at this event (can't remember which one) so it was probably 1996?

The songwriter's retreat thing? One of the two two Mystery songs from Crush was written there (She's A Mystery I believe).

Yup, that's the one. Unless he went back in 1999 I would assume that's the one he wrote it at.

If the song was really written in 1996, it wasn't even a Sex Sells leftover... it was a Destination Anywhere leftover then!

Jon looks very similar to his fan club show in 1998, so I assume that year is correct and I also think that this was where they first wrote and recorded She's A Mystery.

Depending on which point of the year this retreat was, maybe it neither was one or the other and never intended for a solo record.
