Jon singing Here Comes The Sun at the Samsung charity event. Great quality!

That's some talent... reading the lyrics and still being able to mess up.

Awesome performance - listen to how raw and strong the vocal is!

Strange though about the lineup, its a JBJ solo song and introduced as a JBJ solo performance but Richie, Alec and what looks like David are still there, plus a mystery guitarist (not Bandiera) and Ticos been replaced by some random drummer. Odd

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name Live 2003.

The only reason i posted this is because I found it strange that Jon was playing guitar on it!!

I think on Bad Name he origionally plays guitar. I saw a video in 1986 of him playing guitar on the track.

I see him playing guitar on it quite alot acually, but you never really hear it. Must be for the image. Same way he plays guitar on Sleep when im dead, Last man standing, The Distance etc and you cant really hear him. There was even less cause to play his guitar during the HAND tour due to bobby being there but he still did - all part of the image.

No, I think Tico is on the drums. There are just 2 other guys onstage too.

As far as I know the entire band was there. There might have been an extra or two but the Bon Jovi band played that night. I'll check my copy.

I agree, those are some awesomely raw vocals.
That is Tico though.
Odd, isn't this around the time the band weren't talking?
