You'd think if the original creator of the video speaks up they'd almost have to take it down? I can't figure out if them leaving it up is of ignorance to who created it or just not caring.

I almost wouldn't care but "Directo: ***Fabinho Jovi***" really pisses me off. He took something someone else did and made it black and white and credited no one else.

Like has already been said, with YouTube it's very hard to do anything when you don't own the material being uploaded, which you don't in this case even if it's your recording. I do agree though that it's in very poor taste to pretend the edits are yours

This is not the first time this has happened to me. When the second RSO EP came out, I uploaded a video to YouTube of the song I Don't Want to Have to Need You Now, and curiously they blocked it 2 days later for copyright or something like that. A little strange since a lot of people uploaded the song without problems.

But before they blocked it, a user downloaded my video, and when he saw that they had deleted it, he uploaded it to their YouTube channel. And it's still there. This user put in the description of youtube that the video had been edited by me, something that is appreciated at least.

I'm not saying complain to YouTube, I mean making a bigger case about this user and getting him to take it down if enough people put pressure on stealing content.

Is there any chance someone else got their hands on this before you uploaded it? Just that I've seen a version of the same concert uploaded 15 hours ago that looks the same as yours from watching a couple of minutes, and they're claiming to have been the editor.

My version wasn't even exported 15 hours ago. The video of this concert had been in Facebook groups for a good week. If you refer to the upload of Music TV, that's the raw video with wrong aspect ratio and the annoying crackle in the second half. Or is there another upload?

Hey James, just checked and the videos you mean have the (very good) audience recording dubbed to them. Japanese crowds are rather silent (besides the "Richiiiiiieee" girl), but from time to time you can hear people and clapping in there. That being said, the difference between the two audios (bad SBD and good audience) really isn't much and it had me confused for a second as well
